TRUMAN, Arabian Sea (Aug. 11, 2010) - An F/A-18E Super Hornet, assigned to the "Gunslingers" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 105 launches from the flight deck of USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). VFA 105 is deployed as part of Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
